Herbicide Roundup (analogues — Alaz, Zero, Glysol, Tornado) — a universal agent for combating any weeds.
Roundup is widely used in all countries of the world. Its popularity is due to the fact that:
Roundup completely eliminates annual and perennial, grassy and broadleaf weeds, including their above-ground and underground parts.
Roundup has no soil activity. Any crop can be sown immediately after application of this product.
Roundup is one of the safest herbicides in the world. When used correctly, it does not pose a danger to humans or the environment.
Active ingredient: glyphosate
Composition: The preparation contains 360 g/l glyphosate and 180 g/l surfactant.
Formulation: aqueous solution.
Base unit
20 l.
Advantages:
Elimination of weeds before they cause damage to crops during critical growth stages.
Reduction in mechanical treatments, conservation of soil moisture — optimal sowing timing.
Increased field germination of crops.
Mechanism of action of Roundup.
Herbicide Roundup, applied to the surface of leaves or stems, is absorbed by the plant within 4-6 hours. It is transported to roots and other plant parts within 5-7 days. The plant dies as a result of disruption of amino acid synthesis. Initial signs of the product's action, such as yellowing and wilting of plants, appear within 5-10 days after application. Weeds completely die within 2-3 weeks after treatment.
Roundup penetrates the plant only through leaves or young stems, does not affect the plant via soil, and does not inhibit seed germination. In soil, the product rapidly loses activity and then breaks down into natural substances.
