Description Alfa-Prometrin
Active ingredient: permether 500 g/l
Formulation: Concentrate suspension
Intended use: Soil herbicide for protecting crops from annual broadleaf and grass weeds
Packaging: 0.3 L

Advantages

• Effectively controls a wide range of annual broadleaf and grass weeds in sunflower crops.
• Does not affect subsequent crops in crop rotation.
• Long-lasting protective effect — 6-8 weeks (depending on weather conditions).
• Flexible application timing — can be applied both before and after planting.
• Not phytotoxic to the crop when applied according to the recommended regimen.
• Can be applied without incorporation due to low volatility.
• Can be used in tank mixtures with other soil herbicides

Mode of action

Alpha-permether is a selective herbicide. The product is absorbed by emerging weed seedlings and roots when applied pre-emergence. It acts through leaves on weeds that have already emerged. The active ingredient
permether blocks the photosynthesis process in weeds.

Properties

Alpha-permether exhibits high selectivity. The active ingredient is completely degraded in the soil by the end of the vegetation period. Application of Alpha-Permether eliminates weed competition during the early, most critical stage for the crop. It eliminates emerging weeds during the pre-emergence period or within 5-7 days after emergence.

Spectrum of activity

Sensitive: Persian veronica, galinsoga, heliotrope, horseradish (species), wall bindweed, burdock (species), common ragweed, nettle (species), starwort, creeping clover, common yellowweed, annual meadow grass, bird's-foot trefoil, common gryzki, annual persicaria, proso millet (species), sundew (species), common spurge, physalis (species), chickweed (species), shield plant (species), flax (species), cut-leaved geranium, stinging nettle, blood-red plantain, Indian elephant tree, leptochloa variegata, canary grass.

Moderately sensitive: field mustard, wild radish, garden dock (from seeds), white water lily, chamomile (species), pink dock (from seeds), portulaca oleracea.

Resistant: black nightshade, caladiums, common spurge.

General recommendations

Low application rates are recommended for light soils; for heavy (high-humus) soils, the application rate should be increased up to the maximum. Do not perform inter-row cultivation after application. In dry conditions, it is recommended to incorporate the product to a depth of 2-3 cm. To expand the spectrum of activity and reduce the cost of treatment, it is recommended to use in tank mixtures: Etalon 1.5 — 2.2 L/ha + 2.0 L/ha Alpha-Permether. In cool spring conditions, Alpha-Ghetman 1.6-2.2 L/ha + 2
L/ha Alpha-Permether. Herbicide application should be carried out in the morning or evening hours when air temperature is +15… +25 °C.

Working solution application rate 200-400 L/ha
