MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Prometrax, c.s. is used as a selective herbicide for pre-emergence and post-emergence application. It controls a wide spectrum of broadleaf and grassy weeds. The preparation is absorbed by plants through leaves and/or roots. Prometrax translocates within the plant and accumulates in the apical meristem. It slows down the photolysis of water during photosynthesis, leading to the death of young weeds.
APPLICATION
The optimal temperature range for Prometrax application is +10-20°C. When air and soil temperatures drop below +5°C for prolonged periods, the efficacy of Prometrax against certain weed species may significantly decrease.
Prometrax is recommended for application via ground spraying. For broadcast or strip application, flat-fan nozzles are best. Working liquid volume — 300-600 L/ha.
GLOBAL APPLICATION EXPERIENCE:
The preparation is widely used in countries such as Australia, Belarus, Croatia, Poland, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Slovakia, Spain, Israel, Slovenia, Romania, and Turkey for protecting crops such as green pea (2.0-3.0 L/ha) and yellow and narrow-leaved lupine.
Prometrax, c.s. is used as a selective herbicide for pre-emergence and post-emergence application. It controls a wide spectrum of broadleaf and grassy weeds that infest cotton, potato, celery, carrot, turnip, parsley, onion, garlic, sunflower, pea, and soybean crops.
