Post-emergence systemic herbicide for the destruction of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds.
Active ingredient: Tribenuron-methyl, 750 g/kg
Working solution application rate: 200-300 l/ha.
Properties:
ALPHA-STAR provides effective control of most annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, including those resistant to Group 2,4-D herbicides. For maximum efficacy, ALPHA-STAR should be applied during the active growth stage of weeds, i.e., from the 3rd to 6th leaf stage. The systemic action of the product allows it to penetrate through the leaves to the roots, killing the entire plant.
Best control period for rose ragwort — in the rosette stage, and for sticky burdock — up to the 4th rosette.
Advantages:
• Broad spectrum of controlled weeds, especially such as rose ragwort, sticky burdock, etc.
• Low application rate — 15-25 g / ha, ensuring ease and simplicity of use.
• Extended application window: from the appearance of the 2nd leaf to the flag leaf.
• Visible effect on weeds within 2-3 hours after application.
• Compatible with most pesticides.
• No crop rotation restrictions.
• Effective starting from air temperature of 5 °C.
Mode of action:
Tribenuron-methyl stops cell division in sensitive weeds, halting their growth within hours after application. Visible symptoms appear within 5-8 days. Less sensitive weeds or those at later growth stages may not die, but their growth is inhibited and they no longer compete with crops for nutrients and water. Warm weather increases herbicide efficacy, while cooler and drier conditions slow it down.
General recommendations:
For effective weed control, thoroughly cover weeds with the working solution. In cases of dense wheat stands or heavy infestation, increase water volume. To broaden the spectrum of controlled broadleaf weeds, mixtures of ALPHA-STAR (10-15 g / ha) + Alpha-dicamba (0.15-0.2 l / ha) + Alfali 0.1 l/100 l water can be used.
When used with other herbicides or surfactants, first load ALPHA-STAR into the sprayer tank, then add other products. The working solution must be used within 24 hours. Rain within 3 hours after application may reduce efficacy.
