The DMITRIY grape variety (TAN 68) represents a new technical hybrid variety created based on the crossing of Varuseta and Granatovoye. This variety belongs to the late-ripening group and is intended for agricultural cultivation to obtain high-quality raw materials for winemaking and juice production. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics, it is suitable for agrotechnical use and ensures a stable high yield.
The DMITRIY grape is distinguished by high yields, reaching 145-150 centners per hectare. The berries are black, round in shape, weigh from 2 to 3 grams, and clusters weigh from 0.3 to 0.5 kilograms. The sugar content of the berry juice is 21.8-22.3 g per 100 cm³ with a titrated acidity of 9.3-9.5 g/dm³. The taste of the berries is harmonious, making this variety a valuable source of glucose among fruit and berry crops.
DMITRIY is widely used for producing red table and liqueur wines with a rich dark ruby color and cherry shades. The wines possess an aroma with notes of black currant and blackberry, as well as fullness and softness of taste. Additionally, juices with a soft and harmonious taste are obtained from this grape. The variety is distinguished by a resistance level of 2.5-3, which contributes to its reliable cultivation under various conditions.
