Description ARRAFIFTEEN
ARRAFIFTEEN — this is a seedless white grape variety developed in 2000 and characterized by the stability of inheritance of its qualities through asexual reproduction. The variety is medium-late ripening, ripening approximately one week after Thompson Seedless. Grapevines exhibit high growth vigor, and clusters have medium to large size. Berries are elongated cylindrical in shape, large — about 22 mm in width and 42 mm in length, with a creamy light-green hue and a bright waxy bloom, giving them an attractive appearance. Although the flesh may be soft, their firm and crisp skin ensures resistance to splitting after rain and good storability during transport and storage. The flavor of ARRAFIFTEEN grapes is balanced and harmonious, with sugar content ranging from 18 to 24 Brix and noticeable background acidity reminiscent of currants. High acidity requires achieving high sugar content before harvest for optimal balance between sweet and sour. The berry skins are free of bitterness, further enhancing taste quality. Strong attachment of berries to the pedicel contributes to harvest stability. The yield of this variety reaches 25–30 tons per hectare, making it highly productive. The ARRAFIFTEEN variety is grown in various regions around the world, including California, Brazil, South Africa, and Namibia. It has proven to be resistant to rain and adverse weather conditions, enabling large-scale cultivation. Due to its unique characteristics — large crisp berries, attractive appearance, and balanced flavor — this variety is popular among grape producers and consumers.
