Garant grape is a table variety with medium-early ripening, developed in Bulgaria and Russia. It is characterized by high yield and excellent commercial qualities. The clusters are large, conical or cylindrical-conical in shape, weighing from 800 to 1200 grams. The berries are large, oval, with firm and juicy flesh emitting a pleasant muscat aroma. Berry color varies from yellow-green to dark purple or dark red, depending on growing conditions. The sugar content of the juice ranges from 16 to 19.5%, and acidity is within 5-7 g/l, providing a harmonious sweet taste with subtle muscat notes.
The Garant variety exhibits high resistance to fungal diseases such as mildew and oidium, as well as to root forms of phylloxera. It has cold resistance up to -24°C, requiring protection in harsh winter conditions. Due to these characteristics, this grape is suitable for both commercial vineyards and personal consumption.
The fruits of the Garant variety have an attractive commercial appearance, are easily transportable, and retain freshness for a long time, making them popular in the market. This grape is ideal for fresh consumption due to its juicy flesh and balanced flavor. High yield and resistance to adverse factors make the Garant variety a reliable choice for grape growers.
