The Aliyevsky grape variety belongs to the technical group of medium-early ripening varieties, reaching full maturity in the first half of September. The bushes are vigorous with large green leaves that have a slight lobe and a corrugated surface. The clusters are cylinder-conical in shape with medium density, the berries are blue-black, small to medium in size, and covered with a thick skin and a dense waxy bloom. The flesh is soft, juicy, with no pronounced aroma, and the juice is colorless. There are 2-3 small seeds in the berries, and the juice content reaches 85%, making the variety in demand for winemaking and juice production. The variety is distinguished by high frost resistance, withstanding temperatures of -26 to -28 °C, and resistance to major grape diseases, including grey rot, phylloxera, oidium, and downy mildew. The bushes have good growth vigor and shoot ripening, and fruitfulness is high — yield reaches 110-140 centners per hectare. The recommended planting scheme provides a distance of 3.0-3.5 by 2.0 meters with a load of 45-50 buds per bush, which promotes optimal development and fruiting. Aliyevsky is widely used for the production of dry and semi-sweet red wines, as well as dessert and table wines. Due to the high juice content and high quality of berries, the variety is valued by winemakers for yield stability and product quality. To prevent diseases, it is recommended to carry out two treatments per season — before and after flowering, which ensures plant health and high productivity.
