A distinctive feature of this variety are pods without a parchment layer and fibers, slightly curved, of medium length and width, with a blunt tip. At technical maturity, the pods are green, and the seeds are smooth, of medium size with yellow cotyledons. Young pod-snap peas with undeveloped seeds are used for consumption, which gives the product a delicate taste and pleasant texture. Sugar Glazed Sweet Peas is valued for its excellent taste and versatility: the pods are suitable for fresh consumption, adding to salads, stews, as well as for canning and freezing. The attachment height of lower pods reaches 30 cm, which facilitates harvest collection.
