Plant — low in height, no anthocyanin pigmentation. Stem — medium in length, with medium number of nodes. Leaf — moderately green in color. Secondary leaflets absent. Petiole well-developed, medium-sized, with present waxy coating and mottling. Flowering time late. Flower — maximum number of two per node. Pod — moderately green, long, narrow, slightly curved with blunt tip. Number of pods per plant — 10-11. Seeds per pod — 5-7, maximum 8. 1000 seed mass — 230-260 grams. Mid-season maturity, ripens in 83-93 days. Resistant to shattering and lodging. Intensive type variety, suitable for direct combine harvesting. Seeding rate — 1.2-1.4 million germinating seeds per hectare. Recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-steppe, and Steppe regions. Agronomic practices standard for the growing region. Good taste qualities and cooking properties. Protein content — 22.7-24.2%. Resistant to pea weevil. Weakly susceptible to ascochyta blight and root rot. Harvesting recommended at grain moisture content of 17-18%. High-yielding variety. During state variety trials at the Ledenno Station, average yield over the years was 40.1-41.7 centners per hectare, maximum 63.0 centners per hectare.
