Garlic YELENSK

The YeLensk garlic variety is a spring, medium-maturing variety that does not spear. The bulbs have a round or flat-round shape, weighing from 21 to 23 grams, with white dry scales and cream-pink flesh. Each bulb contains about 16 cloves weighing from 2 to 5 grams. The garlic flavor is semi-sharp, and the flesh density is high, making it attractive for various culinary applications.

This variety is characterized by good storability and high resistance to diseases and pests, ensuring a stable yield. The yield ranges from 26 to 37 centners per hectare, which corresponds to approximately 260-370 grams per square meter. YeLensk garlic is winter-hardy and suitable for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including garden-and-vegetable plots, suburban, and small-scale farms.

Despite the fact that the storage period of YeLensk garlic may vary, on average it retains its qualities for up to 10 months, allowing for use over a long period after harvest. Due to its characteristics and versatility, this variety is an excellent choice for those who value quality and reliability when growing garlic.
