Garlic Losevskiy is a frost-resistant medium-early variety, characterized by high yield and large, uniform bulbs weighing up to 80 grams. The bulbs have an oval-flat shape with 4-5 cloves, covered with white dry skins, and the flesh is dense and white. The garlic taste is sharp with a bright piquant aroma, making it in demand both in cuisine and for home use.
This variety is well adapted to growing in open ground and under film, prefers sunny locations and does not require special care conditions. Moderate watering and regular disinfection from diseases are required for successful cultivation. Planting material is recommended to be planted in late spring or early summer. Losevskiy garlic possesses high resistance to fungal diseases and pests, which significantly facilitates plant care.
The vegetation period lasts about 103-112 days from mass growth to leaf yellowing. Leaves 45-50 cm long and up to 3 cm wide have an average waxy coating, and the flower stalk grows without bending. The yield of the variety varies from 1.2 to 1.8 kg per square meter, reaching 3 kg at maximum indicators. Despite relatively low storage life, Losevskiy garlic maintains marketable qualities for 6 months of storage, making it convenient for long-term use.
