Agat

The winter garlic variety Agat is a mid-early variety with a late maturity period, intended for autumn planting from late September to early November. The plant leaves are green with a medium-intensity waxy coating, reaching a length of about 54 cm and a width of 1.7 cm. The bulb is round, weighing from 40 to 80 grams, and consists of 8-12 cloves with a complex structure. Dry skins have a reddish-white color with anthocyanin strokes, leather skins are brown, and the pulp is white. The garlic has a sharp and rich taste, making it an excellent choice for culinary use.

The variety is characterized by high yield - from 0.7 to 0.8 kg per square meter, as well as good storage life, allowing storage of the harvest for up to six months. Garlic Agat is resilient and winter-hardy, ensuring stable growth and development even in complex climatic conditions. Due to its characteristics, it is widely used not only in preparing various dishes, marinades, and infusions, but also in folk medicine.

Practical growing experience shows that garlic Agat forms even and large heads, often reaching fraction 5-6, and individual specimens can reach fraction 7. To obtain maximum yield, it is recommended to plant garlic in well-fertilized beds, which contributes to the development of large and quality bulbs.
