Garlic Ametist

Garlic of the Amethyst variety is a medium-late bulbing plant with a round-flat bulb weighing about 49 grams. The garlic leaves are green with a medium-intensity waxy coating, reaching a length of 53 cm and a width of 1.8 cm. The bulb consists of 8-11 cloves of complex structure; the color of the dry scales varies from reddish-white with anthocyanin stripes to a brown parchment-like covering, and the flesh has a yellowish hue. The garlic has a sharp taste, making it popular both in cooking and in folk medicine.

The Amethyst garlic inflorescence is a simple spherical umbel, including sterile flowers, aerial bulbils, and a dense sheath. The fruit is a capsule, while the garlic practically does not form seeds. The variety's yield is about 0.9 kg per square meter, indicating its good productivity with proper care.
