The «SINTA» variety is a festulolium (Festulolium) hybrid obtained by crossing ryegrass and oatgrass. Thanks to this combination, the plant inherits cold hardiness and a powerful root system from the parent ryegrass, as well as the ability to quickly form a dense green mass from the oatgrass. This makes «SINTA» particularly valuable for growing in cold regions where high-quality grass with high productivity is required.
Under agricultural conditions, the variety demonstrates outstanding biometric indicators: number of generative shoots, inflorescence length, number of spikelets and seeds in each inflorescence, as well as the mass of 1000 seeds. Seed yield is about 661 kg/ha, confirming the high productivity of this variety. In addition, «SINTA» is characterized by excellent yield of both green and dry mass, which makes it attractive for use as a forage crop.
For sowing, a density of 25–30 kg/ha is recommended, providing optimal growth and development of plants. Thanks to the combination of rapid growth and cold hardiness, «SINTA» provides a short growing period without loss of product quality. This makes the variety an ideal choice for farmers seeking to increase forage grass production efficiency while maintaining high levels of yield and quality.
