Description Merlin
Festulolium – a hybrid obtained by crossing two grasses: ryegrass and oat grass. Thanks to this combination, the plant retains cold resistance and a powerful root system from ryegrass, as well as the ability to quickly form a dense green mass from oat grass.

This special crop was created as a fodder plant with improved properties. As a result, the hybrid has gained a high growth rate, which makes its vegetation period very short and allows reaching a sowing rate of about 25‑30 kg/ha. Different varieties of festulolium differ mainly in the content of nutrients in the green mass, so the choice of a specific variety depends on feed requirements.

Festulolium is especially suitable for growing in colder regions where traditional grasses may not yield enough. Its resistance and rapid growth make it a valuable resource for farmers seeking to increase the efficiency of producing quality feed under unfavorable climatic conditions.
