Feed Beet ECKENDORF MONO

Reliable forage production from RGAU-MSHA

The “Ekkendorfskaya Mono” fodder beet variety, developed by the K. A. Timiryazev Russian State Agrarian University (RGAU-MSHA), is a robust solution for farms prioritizing high-yield succulent feed with excellent storage capacity. Its cylindrical root shape is specifically designed to facilitate mechanized harvesting and loading, ensuring efficiency for mid-to-large scale operations.

Practical application in livestock management

The primary advantage of this variety is its suitability for building long-term forage reserves. Due to its superior shelf life, Ekkendorfskaya Mono is ideal for winter storage in specialized facilities, effectively minimizing waste. Its dense root structure allows for seamless processing in feed choppers and dispensers, ensuring a consistent mixture for daily herd nutrition.

• Disease Resistance: The variety exhibits strong resilience to root rot (Rhizoctonia) and Cercospora leaf spot, significantly reducing the dependency on frequent fungicide applications and simplifying field maintenance.
• Agrotechnical Predictability: Developed by S. M. Golovin and R. A. Yunusov, this variety shows consistent behavior under standard agricultural practices, allowing agronomists to optimize fertilizer and irrigation schedules effectively.
• Processing: Its geometry and uniformity make it compatible with modern agricultural machinery, saving time during peak harvesting seasons.

By opting for seeds from FGBOU VO RGAU-MSHA, producers secure reliable plant genetics tailored to the specific needs of modern animal husbandry, focusing on both nutritional value and long-term storage viability.
