ECKENDORF MONO — a mid-season fodder beet variety of German selection, intended for growing for feed purposes in livestock farms and home garden plots. This variety is characterized by high yield, storability, and resistance to diseases, bolting, and adverse weather conditions. The root crops have a cylindrical shape with a blunt end, smooth, weighing from 1 to 1.6 kg, with a lemon-yellow color and a gray tint at the base. They are submerged in the soil by about 50%, which facilitates their extraction.

The flesh of the root crops is white and juicy, has high nutritional value, which makes the variety particularly useful for feeding cattle, pigs, sheep, chickens, and rabbits.
