PURPLE QUEEN

Purple Queen is a mid-early delicacy variety of snap bean with a vegetation period of 70-80 days from germination to technical maturity. The plant is bushy, compact, and 25-30 cm high, forming fleshy and dense pods 12-14 cm long of a rich purple color. The pod surface lacks parchment and fibers, making the beans especially pleasant to eat. The seeds have a cream or dark yellow tint and are distinguished by high quality and excellent taste with elevated sugar content.

This variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to viral and fungal diseases, ensuring reliable cultivation. The bean is not demanding on soil composition, prefers sunny areas, and can be grown in open ground from April to June. The harvest is collected from July to September. The bean has limited storage life, so timely use or processing is recommended.

Purple Queen is excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for home cooking, canning, and freezing. Thanks to the fleshy pods and absence of tough fibers, the bean retains its delicate taste and texture after thermal processing, making it a versatile product for various dishes.
