The beans are characterized by high protein content, good drought tolerance, and rapid growth, making them suitable for planting in April at soil temperatures around 10°C. Plants require moderate watering and sufficient sunlight.

The primary application for "Emerald" beans is home cooking, where they are valued for their low caloric content and easy digestibility. The pods are suitable for freezing and seasonal preservation, maintaining their taste qualities.
