Bean Lambada

A Compact Choice for Early Harvest

When every square meter of your garden counts, the bush bean variety "Lambada" from the Agrofirma Poisk brand is a practical solution. This is a snap (sugar) bean that eliminates the need for complex support systems or trellises — its height stays within 30–40 cm. For a grower, this means saving time on installing stakes or netting and enjoying simplified maintenance of the garden bed.

Field Performance and Maintenance

The main advantage of this variety is its speed. You get a harvest within 65 days after emergence. This is crucial for regions with shorter summers: "Lambada" manages to yield most of its production before the autumn cooling. Its bush-type stem makes the plant wind-resistant; it doesn't lodge and remains easily accessible for picking even after heavy rain.

• Easy Harvesting: The compact habit of the bush allows you to move quickly between rows without the risk of damaging adjacent plants.
• Consistency: As a true-to-type seed material, "Lambada" provides predictable results when standard agricultural practices are followed.
• Space Efficiency: The bush form allows for tighter planting density compared to climbing beans, maximizing your growing area.

Maintenance is straightforward: weeding during the early growth stage and timely irrigation. Because of its low profile, the plant doesn't cast dense shadows, which makes working in the aisles much easier. In terms of culinary quality, the absence of a tough parchment layer in the pods (a signature trait of sugar beans) makes "Lambada" an excellent choice for freezing and fresh cooking. It is a reliable "workhorse" for those who value consistency and minimizing the effort required to maintain their garden.
