SAKFIT

SAKFIT is a mid-early to mid-season variety of vegetable bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) with a compact bush plant up to 40 cm high. The leaves are green, and the flowers are white and medium-sized. Pods are straight, elliptical or ovoid in cross-section, 12-14 cm long and about 1.0 cm wide, with a pointed tip and a medium-length beak. At technical maturity, pods are green, lacking a parchment layer and fibers in early development stages, ensuring high product quality. Seeds are kidney-shaped, greenish with weak venation, and the mass of 1000 seeds is 250-300 g.

The variety is characterized by high yield - marketable bean yield reaches 1.1 kg per square meter. It withstands drought, low temperatures, and waterlogging well, making it plastic and resilient to weather fluctuations. The period from germination to technical maturity is 55-57 days. The plant is suitable for cultivation on loamy and clay loam soils and responds well to top dressing after germination and during pod formation.

SAKFIT is versatile in use and suitable for all types of processing. Young pods without fibers or with low fiber content are consumed as food, providing good taste qualities. For plant care, it is recommended to perform 2-3 inter-row hoeing during the vegetation period. Harvest is conducted 8-10 days after pod formation. The optimal temperature for bean growth and development is 22-28°C, and planting is done at a depth of 3-4 cm according to the 15x30 cm scheme in a sunny, wind-protected place.
