WHITE FAEY

The Eggplant variety WHITE FAEY is a mid-early and high-yielding variety suitable for growing both in open ground and greenhouses, especially in southern regions. The vegetative period is 115-120 days from germination to fruiting. The plant is of medium height, reaching 90-110 cm and differs in strong foliage, which promotes good development and protection of fruits.

The fruits of the eggplant WHITE FAEY have an elongated pear-shaped, almost cylindrical shape and are white. The average fruit weight is 200-250 grams. The flesh is white, dense and tender, and does not have bitterness, making this variety particularly attractive for culinary use. It is excellent for preparing delicacy appetizers and side dishes for meat dishes, and also preserves its qualities well during canning.

For successful growing, it is recommended to sow seeds for seedlings at the end of February, followed by pricking out at the cotyledon stage. Seedlings are planted at the end of May at an optimal soil temperature of 25-28°C. During plant formation, all side shoots and leaves up to the first fork must be removed, leaving 5-6 of the largest ovaries on the plant; the rest of the flowers and ovaries are removed. The recommended planting scheme is 40x60 cm, which provides sufficient space for the growth and development of each plant.
