Aretussa F1 Eggplant — a mid-early white-fruited hybrid developed by the Dutch seed company Rijk Zwaan. The maturation period is 70-80 days from transplanting. The plant is tall, reaching up to 90 cm, with a strong root system and short internodes. Each plant forms 8 to 12 fruits even under adverse conditions, ensuring stable and high yield. For active fruiting, staking is recommended to support the plant. The hybrid is resistant to many diseases and withstands long-distance transportation without loss of appearance or flavor. The fruits of Aretussa eggplant have an oval-cylindrical shape, 16-18 cm in length and 5-7 cm in diameter. The weight of one fruit ranges from 300 to 400 grams. Their distinguishing feature is a snow-white color without green spots, smooth and shiny surface. The flesh is light, moderately firm, and very tasty, making this hybrid popular for fresh consumption, canning, and culinary use.
