ARAGON

Aragon F1 is a high-yielding early-season eggplant hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses. The maturation period is 65-75 days, which allows obtaining a harvest from the early stages until the end of the season. The plant is strong and leafy, reaching a height of about 110-130 cm, which contributes to good development and protection from sunburn. The hybrid is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and verticillium wilt, which increases its reliability and yield stability.

Aragon F1 fruits have an elongated oval or pear shape, about 19 cm long and weighing up to 1 kg. Their coloring is a rich black color, and the flesh is white, without bitterness and with a small seed cavity, which ensures excellent taste qualities. The hybrid responds well to the use of growth stimulants, which allows further increasing yield and fruit quality.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to use highly fertile, light soils rich in organic matter, as well as to choose well-lit and wind-protected areas. Seeds are treated with the fungicide Tiram and do not require soaking before sowing. Sowing seeds is carried out in late February to the first half of March in pots with a diameter of up to 8 cm, and seedlings are transplanted to a greenhouse or under a film cover in May when the soil temperature is above 14°C. The recommended plant density is from 12,000 to 25,000 per hectare, which is optimal for the spring-summer rotation.
