The Anatolia F1 eggplant is a mid-season hybrid from the Dutch selection company Rijk Zwaan, intended for cultivation in open ground, greenhouses, and polytunnels. The first fruits appear 70-80 days after transplanting seedlings. The plant exhibits strong growth, reaching a height of about 90 cm, with a robust root system, dense foliage, and short internodes. Plants produce 8 to 12 fruits, ensuring high yields even under adverse conditions, with staking required only in rare cases. The fruits of the Anatolia eggplant have an elongated-cylindrical shape, measuring 22-24 cm in length and 6.5-7 cm in diameter, weighing 300-350 g, sometimes up to 500 g. Their color is deep purple with a glossy sheen, and the flesh is light, almost white, with minimal seeds. Due to their high dry matter content and excellent taste, these eggplants are widely used in culinary applications and food processing. The yield has good transportability and retains turgor and market appearance during long-term storage. Anatolia F1 hybrid seeds are fully prepared for planting and exhibit high germination rates and rapid rooting. They have multiple levels of protection against pests and show resistance to viral diseases and insect damage. The hybrid is adapted for cultivation in various climatic zones, including regions of Ukraine and neighboring countries, making it a universal choice for gardeners and professional farmers.
