Ritzar – a mid-season daikon variety that reaches maturity in 65‑70 days from germination to root harvesting. The root has an elliptical shape, is long and white with a slightly rough surface; each fruit weighs about 750 g. The head is round, slightly greenish, giving the product an attractive appearance.
The root flesh is crisp, juicy and tender, semi-transparent and white. The taste is fresh and refreshing, without a spicy aftertaste, making it ideal for raw consumption. The variety is resistant to bolting, so it retains its taste and structure even during long-term storage under cool conditions.
Yield is 6.8–7.5 kg/m². Seeds are sown in open ground at the end of April–May or in the second half of July using a planting scheme of 8–10 × 20 cm. The product complies with international standards and GOST RF 12260‑81, contains no GMOs, which guarantees its safety and high quality.
