Petryvska

Petryvska black currant variety features large, round, glossy berries weighing up to 6 grams. The berries have a pleasant sour-sweet flavor and medium-thick skin with dry detachment. The bushes are vigorous and spreading, reaching heights of 1 to 1.5 meters. The variety is highly winter-hardy and does not require winter protection, simplifying care and increasing reliability of cultivation under various climatic conditions. Petryvska is resistant to major currant diseases such as powdery mildew, septoria, and anthracnose, significantly reducing crop losses and the need for frequent chemical treatments. Due to its ecological adaptability and technological efficiency, this variety adapts well to the northern part of the Left-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine and maintains stable productivity even under adverse weather conditions, including high temperatures and drought. This variety is widely used for both commercial and hobby cultivation due to its high yield and berry quality.
