SUDARYNYA

The cucumber variety Sudarynya is an early-maturing hybrid that matures within 35-45 days. The plant is tall, moderately branched, with compact bushes and mixed flowering. The fruits are short-cylindrical, 8-10 cm long, ribbed or finely ribbed, dark green with medium-length stripes, black-tipped. The weight of one cucumber is approximately 80-105 g. The flesh is light green, dense and crisp, with a pleasant sweet taste without bitterness, making this variety suitable for fresh consumption, pickling and marination.

Sudarynya is characterized by high resistance to diseases, particularly cucumber mosaic, powdery mildew, downy mildew, and cladosporeosis. Thanks to these qualities and adaptability to various growing conditions, this variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses and plastic covers. The plant is pollinated by bees, but there is also a parthenocarpic hybrid with similar characteristics, requiring no pollination.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to plant seedlings in April, and transplant into the ground in May-June at soil temperatures not lower than 15 °C. Optimal conditions include a sunny location with fertile soil, regular watering and feeding. The fruits of the Sudarynya variety do not yellow and retain their firmness and crisp texture during pickling, without forming voids, which is an important advantage for preservation.
