Junior

Junior — an early parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses and open ground in spring-summer and summer-autumn rotations. This variety is characterized by its generative plant type, strong growth, and limited lateral branching. Female-type flowering contributes to stable fruiting and high yield.

The hybrid's fruits are uniform, cylindrical, with prominent spines, dark green in color, 10-12 cm long and weighing 80-100 g. The cucumbers have a dense structure, making them especially suitable for pickling, marinating, and fermenting. Smaller fruits up to 6 cm long can also be harvested if needed, retaining all flavor qualities.

The hybrid is resistant to major cucumber diseases, including CMV, Px, and Ccu viruses, and tolerant to temperature fluctuations. Thanks to these traits and its ability to maintain high marketability and rich dark green fruit color throughout the fruiting period, Junior is a profitable choice for commercial cultivation and home gardening.
