Cucumber SNOW FANTASY

Snow Fantasy is an early-maturing hybrid of cucumber of cornichon type, which begins fruiting as early as day 36-45 after mass germination. The fruits have a spindle shape, length of 8-10 cm, and weight of 80-90 grams. They are dark green in color with large bumps and brown spines. The flesh is dense, crisp, and juicy, genetically free of bitterness, which remains even after pickling. Plants are strong, medium-branched, with female flower type, forming 2-3 fruits per node, ensuring high yield and synchronized fruiting.

The hybrid is highly resistant to adverse weather conditions, including cold tolerance and shade tolerance. It continues to flower and fruit at low temperatures of 10-12°C, making it versatile for cultivation in open ground, greenhouses, polytunnels, and under temporary coverings. Snow Fantasy is tolerant to diseases such as olive spot and powdery mildew, and is also resistant to root rot.

This hybrid is partially self-pollinating, but for better fruiting, bee pollination is recommended. It requires minimal care and has high adaptability, allowing for stable and high-quality yields in various climatic conditions. Due to its flavor and market qualities, as well as its versatility, Snow Fantasy is an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers aiming for maximum profit from cucumber cultivation.
