ZADOR

Zador F1 is an early parthenocarpic hybrid of cornichon type, intended for cultivation in greenhouse, polytunnels and open ground. From germination to the beginning of fruiting, it takes 38–42 days, making this variety especially attractive for those who value a quick harvest. The plant is tall, which allows for abundant fruiting with proper agronomic care.

The fruits of Zador F1 cucumber have a cylindrical shape, dark green color with large bumps and white spines. The length of the cucumbers is 8–10 cm, weight — 80–90 g, and they do not overgrow or become bitter. Thanks to these characteristics, the cucumbers are ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for canning, pickling, and production of pickles. During processing, the fruits do not turn yellow, preserving their attractive appearance and taste. The yield of this variety is high: in open ground it exceeds 12 kg per square meter, and in greenhouses it reaches more than 15 kg.

The variety has good resistance to powdery mildew and moderate resistance to false powdery mildew, which reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications and simplifies plant care. The seeds of Zador F1 cucumber have a weight of 1000 seeds about 25 grams and are sold in sealed foil packaging, ensuring their preservation and high germination rate. The recommended planting density in greenhouses is 2.5 plants per square meter, and in open ground — according to the scheme 90x50 cm with spacing between plants 25 cm.
