Description SHANGHAI YOUNG GUY
Shanghai Young Guy cucumber is a parthenocarpic early-maturing hybrid, intended for cultivation in spring greenhouses, under plastic coverings, and in open ground. From germination to the start of fruiting, it takes 44-46 days, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is indeterminate, medium-branched, with a female flowering type, which ensures excellent fruiting on lateral branches.

Cucumber fruits reach 37-40 cm in length, have a large-bumpy surface, and a small seed cavity. They are dense, which contributes to long-term storage after harvest, and do not wilt for a long time. The taste of the fruits is good, making them ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for use in salads, canning, and pickling.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to common diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, and fusarium wilt, significantly simplifying care and increasing yield. In plastic greenhouses, the yield reaches 13.4 kg per square meter, making Shanghai Young Guy a profitable choice for gardeners and farmers.
