Cucumber variety ARMY is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid, suitable for cultivation in both polyethylene greenhouses and open ground. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 42 to 45 days, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is medium-branched, open-type, and does not require constant pruning in greenhouses, simplifying care and enhancing cultivation convenience. High resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, and olive spot ensures stable and high-quality yields even under adverse conditions. Cucumber fruits of variety ARMY have a cylindrical shape and bright green color. The zucchini are 6 to 12 cm long, large-ribbed, and white-stemmed, giving them an attractive appearance. They do not turn brown and retain their marketable appearance for a long time, which is especially important for marketing and storage. The fruits have a crisp and aromatic taste without bitterness, making them suitable for fresh consumption as well as for pickling and preservation. When salted, the cucumbers retain their firmness and crisp texture, which is highly valued in cooking. To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to grow cucumbers on trellises, which improves plant lighting and ventilation, as well as facilitates harvest. The plant forms 2–5 female flowers per node, ensuring uniform fruiting and a stable high yield.
