Description KUMBOR
Kumbor F1 — an early parthenocarpic hybrid of cucumber of cornichon type, intended for cultivation in greenhouses, polytunnels, and open ground. The ripening period is 38-43 days from emergence to the start of fruiting. The plant is strong, compact, medium-vined with short lateral branches and well-leafed. One node forms 1-2, sometimes 3 fruits, which contributes to high yield.

The fruits of Kumbor F1 are cylindrical, dense, medium-ribbed, dark green in color with characteristic white down. Fruit length is 9-11 cm, diameter 3-3.5 cm, weight — 50-90 grams. They have excellent taste qualities, are genetically free of bitterness, and the fruit apex retains green color for a long time without yellowing. The cucumbers are characterized by high marketability and good transportability, making them attractive for sale and storage.

The hybrid is resistant to a range of diseases, including powdery mildew, bacterial disease, and downy mildew, as well as heat tolerance and resistance to temperature stress. Kumbor F1 is recommended for cultivation in the first and second crop cycles in protected ground, as well as in open ground at a planting density of 2.8-3.5 plants per square meter. The cucumbers are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and pickling, ensuring yields of up to 16-19 kg/m2 in greenhouses and 12-14 kg/m2 in open ground.
