PATIO STAR

PATIO STAR is an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, specially developed for cultivation in limited spaces, including containers, planters, hanging baskets, as well as on balconies, loggias, and windowsills with good lighting. The plants have a compact habit with short internodes and small leaves, making them ideal for home and urban gardening. Flowering is exclusively female, with cluster arrangement of ovary positions, with 3 to 5 fruits forming in each node, ensuring high yield.

PATIO STAR fruits have a lettuce type, measuring 6 to 12 cm in length, with a smooth shape and medium ribbing. The skin is thin, and the flesh is firm and crisp, giving the cucumbers a sweet, juicy flavor with a refreshing summer aroma. The cucumbers do not overgrow and maintain excellent quality even with irregular harvesting. Fruit production begins as early as day 40-41 after germination, allowing for early harvest.

The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to major cucumber diseases and good tolerance to sharp temperature fluctuations, making it suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground. Yield reaches 11-12 kg per square meter, confirming its effectiveness and practicality for both hobbyists and professionals seeking a stable and high-quality harvest in limited spaces.
