BRITANOS is an early parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid that does not require insect pollination, ensuring stable fruiting under various growing conditions. The plant is indeterminate, with an open habit and strong branching, predominantly female-flowering. Leaves are large, dark green, and the robust root system contributes to high resistance to low light intensity and changing weather conditions.
BRITANOS fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape, dark green color, and weigh between 169 to 400 grams depending on growing conditions. The fruits are slightly ribbed, salad-type, with good flavor and high market quality. The hybrid's yield is exceptionally productive: in winter greenhouses, it reaches up to 15.2 kg per square meter, and in plastic greenhouses — up to 24.9 kg per square meter, exceeding the performance of standard varieties.
The BRITANOS hybrid is suitable for cultivation in glass and plastic greenhouses during winter-spring and spring-summer periods. Thanks to its resilience and high market yield, it is widely used for commercial production and in private farms. Its rapid fruiting and short internodes make this variety especially attractive for those who value a stable and high-quality cucumber harvest.
