Description TO THE NEIGHBOR'S JOY
Cucumber of the "To the Neighbor's Joy" variety is a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid, intended for cultivation during the spring-summer period both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. From germination to technical maturity of the first fruits, it takes approximately 41-48 days. The plant is indeterminate, of medium height, with short internodes and weak branching. Flowering is predominantly female, with fruit clusters forming in bunches of 4-10 fruits, which contributes to high yield — up to 6-8 kg per plant.

Fruits of this variety are cornichon-type, 7-12 cm long and weighing 70-100 g, with a white-skin surface. They feature a delicate, refreshing taste without any bitterness and a strong appetizing aroma. The cucumbers retain crispness even after pickling or marinating, making them versatile for consumption both fresh and for preservation. High tasting evaluation confirms the excellent flavor qualities of the variety.

Cultivation of "To the Neighbor's Joy" cucumbers begins in spring after the last frost, while in greenhouses, seeds can be sown as early as March. To accelerate germination, seeds are recommended to be soaked in water for 24 hours with periodic water changes. The soil should be light, slightly acidic, and nutrient-rich, while the location should be warm, sunny, and protected from drafts. Plants require support, regular watering, and feeding with quality fertilizers. The variety is low-maintenance, stress-tolerant, and disease-resistant, making it an excellent choice for gardeners aiming to achieve a high-quality yield.
