Manzur F1 is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid that begins fruiting 40-44 days after germination. Plants are strong and balanced, with a well-developed root system and moderate branching. Leaves are dark green, semi-horizontal, medium to large in size. Female-type flowering, with 2-3 fruits forming in each node. Fruits are cylindrical, 12-14 cm long, 3.5-4.0 cm in diameter, weighing 90-120 g, slightly ribbed, juicy, glossy, and crisp green. Flesh is dense, crunchy, with high flavor quality.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including true and false powdery mildew, olive spot, cucumber mosaic virus, and root rots. Due to its high ecological adaptability, Manzur F1 thrives in various climatic conditions and soil types, making it suitable for spring and late-summer/autumn rotations in glass and plastic greenhouses.
To ensure high-quality fruit formation, a classic plant training scheme is recommended, including side shoot removal and topping when the plant reaches the neighboring plant. It is important to limit nitrogen fertilizer application, especially ammoniacal fertilizers, during hot weather to avoid fruits with overgrown flower scars. Harvesting should occur no less than three times per week. Fruits have high storability and transportability, retain their crunchy texture, and do not form cavities during pickling or marination.
