AZAM F1 — an early parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid that begins fruiting 39-43 days after emergence. Plants are robust, with shortened internodes and strong branching, featuring a female flowering type with 2-4 fruits per node. Leaves are medium-sized, semi-horizontal, and succulent green. The root system is well-developed, contributing to the hybrid's high resistance and productivity.
Fruits are cylindrical, smooth or slightly ribbed, 10-12 cm long, 4-4.5 cm in diameter, and weighing 90-120 g. They exhibit uniform size throughout the entire vegetation period, with succulent, crisp flesh and a distinct cucumber aroma. The taste qualities of the fruits are high, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. Yield in greenhouse cultivation reaches up to 6.1 kg per square meter.
The hybrid possesses comprehensive resistance to major diseases, including olive spot, true and false powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, and cladosporiasis. Moderate resistance to root rot allows plants to remain healthy throughout the season. High cold tolerance enables early spring planting. Recommended for cultivation in glass and plastic greenhouses during spring and summer-autumn rotations, primarily for salad use.
