Cucumber KAI

Cucumber KAЙ — a mid-season, bee-pollinated hybrid for universal use, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is vigorous, with 4–5 lateral branches, predominantly female-flowering, ensuring high fruit set — one to three fruits per node. Plants exhibit good cold tolerance and resilience to temperature fluctuations, as well as resistance to false powdery mildew, which contributes to stable and uniform fruiting throughout the season. KAЙ cucumber fruits are cylindrical, 6–8 cm long, weighing 68–75 g. They are large-warted, green with white spines, possessing crisp flesh without bitterness. The fruits do not overgrow or yellow, making them ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and preservation. The hybrid’s high yield reaches up to 12.4 kg per square meter under plastic coverings and 35–45 tons per hectare in open ground. Due to its characteristics, KAЙ cucumber is a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers seeking a stable and high-quality harvest. Its versatility and resilience to adverse growing conditions make this hybrid especially attractive for various climatic zones and cultivation methods.
