Cucumber Leader

Cucumber Leader F1 is an early-maturing, high-yielding hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and under temporary coverings. Plants predominantly of female flowering type exhibit high growth energy, strong development, and compact appearance, facilitating care and harvesting. This variety is especially valued for its resistance to major diseases such as downy mildew and powdery mildew, as well as its enhanced cold tolerance, allowing stable yields even under adverse weather conditions.

The fruits of cucumber Leader F1 have a cylindrical shape, measuring 8–12 cm in length and weighing 50–80 g. They are bright green with characteristic light stripes running approximately one-third of the fruit’s length. The skin is distinctly ridged but less bumpy compared to other varieties, giving them an attractive appearance. The taste of the fruits is excellent, free of bitterness, making them versatile for various uses.

Leader F1 is ideal for pickling, salting, fermenting, and long-term storage. Due to its high market yield and fruit quality, cucumbers retain freshness and appeal, do not yellow, and preserve their flavor for extended periods. This hybrid is an excellent choice for those who appreciate early, abundant harvests of quality cucumbers with universal applications.
