Cucumber VITAN

The VITAN cucumber variety is a medium-maturing, bee-pollinated type intended for salad and canning purposes. The plant is indeterminate, medium-branched, with dark green, slightly wrinkled medium-sized leaves. The fruits are cylindrical, dark green, and have a large-warty surface. Fruit length ranges from 12-14 cm, diameter 3.5-4.5 cm, and weight varies from 90 to 113 grams. The commercial yield of this variety reaches 294-359 centners per hectare, indicating high productivity of the crop.

One of the main advantages of the VITAN variety is its high resistance to diseases such as downy mildew, anthracnose, peronosporosis, and bacterial blight. This ensures a prolonged fruiting period that continues until frost, significantly extending the harvest window. The flavor qualities of the cucumbers are good, making them versatile for various uses, including fresh salads and canning.

Like other members of the Cucurbitaceae family, the VITAN cucumber is a beneficial product rich in vitamins A, B, C, K, as well as trace elements such as manganese, copper, and potassium. The fruits consist of 90% water, which helps maintain hydration and detoxify the body. Including cucumbers in the diet positively impacts overall health and supports good physical condition.
