AZADI

AZADI — a mid-early parthenocarpic hybrid cucumber that begins fruiting 40-45 days after germination. Plants are vigorous, with well-developed and active root systems capable of efficiently supplying water and nutrients on any substrate type. Leaves are medium to large in size, semi-horizontal, and dark green. Flowering is female, with 2-3 fruits forming in each node, contributing to high yield.

Fruits of this hybrid are cylindrical, 18-20 cm long, 4.0-4.5 cm in diameter, and weigh 190-220 g. They have a dark green color with a slightly ribbed surface, dense and crisp flesh with a pleasant aroma. AZADI cucumber varieties are intended exclusively for fresh consumption, highlighting their high quality and taste characteristics.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases such as olive spot, true powdery mildew, and cucumber mosaic virus, as well as moderate resistance to root rot and false powdery mildew. Plants adapt well to sharp temperature fluctuations without reducing fruiting intensity. For bush formation, the classical method is recommended, involving leaving lateral branches and pinching the apex when it reaches neighboring plants. AZADI is suitable for cultivation in spring and summer-autumn rotations in glass and plastic greenhouses.
