Cucumber Avanture — this is an ultra-early, high-yielding hybrid of the cornichon type, with self-pollinating capability and female flower type, eliminating the need for insect pollinators. The fruits are cylindrical, 10–12 cm long and 3.5–4 cm in diameter, with dark green skin adorned with light stripes and large bumps. The flesh is dense, crisp, juicy, with a slight sweet note and no bitterness, making the cucumbers delicious when eaten fresh, pickled, or salted.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus and powdery mildew, as well as stress tolerance and low maintenance requirements. It grows successfully both in open ground and in unheated greenhouses and polytunnels, adapting to various climatic conditions. Seeds should be sown at soil temperatures of 13–15°C, and seedlings transplanted after the threat of frost, with a planting density of 3–4 plants per square meter.

Avanture is suitable for universal use: its fruits are consumed fresh, added to vegetable salads and soups, and used for pickling and preservation. Thanks to its compact size, uniform shape, and dense flesh, the cucumbers retain their crispness and attractive appearance in jars, making them ideal for both home and commercial cultivation.
