BAKINSKY SURPRISE — a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid cucumber of female flowering type, intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses and protected soil. The plant is compact with small leaves, short internodes, and active branching, ensuring the formation of 2-3 to 6-10 fruits per node. Fruit set begins on the 38-40th day after germination, enabling an early harvest. Cucumbers are smooth-skinned, cylindrical, 9-12 cm long, weighing 50-60 g, and possess high flavor qualities comparable to classic Baku cucumber.
This hybrid is resistant to major cucumber diseases such as powdery mildew, olive spot, and ordinary cucumber mosaic virus, and is tolerant to false powdery mildew. Due to these characteristics, BAKINSKY SURPRISE is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including northern and central regions, making it a universal choice for gardeners and farmers.
Cucumbers of this variety have an elongated shape and soft skin, practically free of bumps, giving them an attractive appearance. The flesh is crisp, with a pleasant sweet taste and fresh aroma. High water content (up to 95%) helps restore body hydration, detoxify the body, and improve digestion. Cucumbers contain vitamins of group B, PP, A, C, K, as well as trace elements such as potassium, silicon, cobalt, copper, molybdenum, chromium, folic acid, and iodine, making them a nutritious and beneficial product for daily consumption, in salads, smoothies, and summer soups.
