Cucumber Green Avalanche F1 is an early zucchini hybrid that begins to ripen as early as 38-45 days after germination. This bee-pollinated hybrid, predominantly female-flowering, is suitable for cultivation in both plastic greenhouses and open ground. Due to its early maturity and high yield, Green Avalanche allows for two harvest cycles, making it especially attractive to farmers and gardeners. Fruits form primarily in clusters of 2-3 per node, contributing to a rich harvest of high-quality zucchinis. The cucumbers have an elongated cylindrical shape, up to 23 cm long and weighing up to 170 grams, with a length-to-diameter ratio of approximately 4.2:1. They feature a dark green color with occasional large bumps and white spines, possessing a juicy, crisp texture without bitterness. Green Avalanche does not overgrow and maintains a stable size and shape even under unfavorable growing conditions. These cucumbers are ideal for fresh salads, slicing, pickling, and marinating. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including true and false powdery mildew, olive spot, root rot, and cucumber mosaic virus. For planting, seedlings are recommended, transplanted into the soil at the 3-4 true leaf stage in late May to early June, or sown directly into the ground in May-June with an optimal planting scheme of 30x70 cm.
