ARLEKINO

Arlekin is a fast-maturing, high-yielding parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, intended for cultivation in greenhouses, polytunnels, open ground, and even on balconies. From germination to the beginning of fruiting, it takes only 36-38 days. The plant is medium-height with moderate branching, ensuring ease of care and harvesting.

The fruits of Arlekin are cylindrical, dark green, 14-16 cm long, medium-bumpy with evenly distributed white spines. The fruits form in clusters of 2-3 per node. The flesh is aromatic, juicy, crisp, and free of bitterness, making them excellent for fresh consumption as well as for pickling and canning. When pickled, the fruits retain their shape, color, and flesh density, highlighting their superior taste.

The hybrid is resistant to powdery mildew and cucumber mosaic virus, and it also exhibits high cold tolerance and adaptability to temperature fluctuations and adverse weather conditions. These qualities make the Arlekin variety especially valuable for cultivation in northern regions and variable climates, ensuring consistent yield and reliability under diverse conditions.
