Cucumber Furor

Focus on Early Harvest: The Furor Cucumber

For agricultural producers aiming for early market entry, the parthenocarpic hybrid "Furor," developed by Ukrainian breeder Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko, offers a highly technological solution. This vegetative-type plant reaches the fruiting phase in just 35–40 days after germination. Its ability to set fruit without insect pollination ensures stable yields in both glass greenhouses and open-field conditions.

Key Agronomic Advantages

• Pathogen Resistance: Genetic resilience against downy mildew and bacteriosis significantly reduces the need for heavy fungicide applications during high-humidity cycles.
• Marketable Quality: The dark green, heavily warted 10–12 cm fruits meet standard retail packaging requirements perfectly. The dense internal structure ensures excellent shelf life and durability during long-distance logistics.
• Growing Flexibility: The plant shows vigorous growth in early-season protected cultivation and maintains high productivity in open fields.

"Furor" is the choice for operations requiring predictable results without the risk of mass ovary abortion caused by temperature fluctuations. Its adaptability combined with a robust immune system makes it an essential tool for agronomists aiming to secure high-quality cucumbers during the first peak of market demand.
