REZASTR

Rezastr — a mid-season cucumber variety intended for cultivation in open ground. The plant is long-vined, moderately branched, with pentagonal-round, dark green leaves of medium size. The fruits are spindle-shaped, 16-18 cm long and 100-170 g in weight, with sparse bumps and complex mixed pubescence of white and black color. The fruit cross-section is round-triangular. The taste qualities of the fruits are good, free of bitterness, slightly sweet, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for pickling and marinating.

The variety is characterized by stable and high yield, as well as prolonged keeping quality of the fruits. Rezastr has moderate resistance to false powdery mildew and angular spot disease, which increases its reliability during cultivation. Moreover, the variety is adapted to various growing conditions, successfully growing both in open ground and in greenhouses.

The fruits of this variety contain 4.4-4.7% dry matter, 2.1-2.2% total sugar, and 9.0-10.5 mg ascorbic acid per 100 g of dry matter, ensuring their high nutritional value. Compact bushes form even, crisp cucumbers with excellent taste qualities, making Rezastr a versatile variety for various uses.
