Cucumber POLAN F1

Reliability and quality from Polish breeders

The «POLAN F1» hybrid from the renowned Polish breeding company PNOS Ozarow Mazowiecki is a time-tested classic that has firmly established itself in the fields of both professional vegetable growers and home gardeners. Developed for the climatic conditions of Central Europe, this cucumber shows remarkable plasticity, adapting well to fluctuations in temperature and humidity.

Agronomic features and fruit characteristics

In the segment of medium-warty cucumbers, this model stands out for its consistency. The fruit possesses ideal marketable properties: a length of 10–12 cm, making it versatile for both fresh consumption and all types of canning. The deep green color is retained even during long storage, while the moderate warty texture gives the fruits an authentic appearance highly valued in the marketplace.

Crop health

A key advantage of «POLAN F1» is its natural resistance to downy mildew (peronospora). This is not merely a bonus but a vital factor that allows for minimizing chemical intervention in the field and harvesting an environmentally friendly product, even in years with high disease pressure. The breeding work from PNOS Ozarow Mazowiecki is focused on maintaining productivity throughout the entire growing season.
